Excel is the destination for teams whose reporting lives in workbooks, not in a BI tool. The OWOX Data Marts add-in works inside the workbook. You sign in, browse the published Data Marts, build a report and refresh it there. * Every number comes from a Data Mart your analysts defined, not from a formula pasted into a workbook * The report is bound to a worksheet, so the data stays in the place people already work * The same Data Mart can also feed Google Sheets, Data Studio and AI assistants R02 · Who it is for ## Who Is Excel With OWOX For? Finance and operations teams who report in Excel and need the numbers to be correct, explainable and defensible. * Teams that rebuild the same export every week * Analysts tired of being asked where a number came from * Anyone who needs a refreshable report instead of a pasted CSV R03 · Report ## How a Report Gets Into a Worksheet Excel works in pull mode. The add-in asks OWOX for the data when you refresh the report, and OWOX reads your storage. 1. Sign in through the add-in. 2. Select a published Data Mart. 3. Set the columns, filters and sort order. 4. Select Create & Run to fill the worksheet. The add-in binds the report to that worksheet. A refresh rewrites only the imported columns. Columns and formulas you added to the right of them stay, the column order stays and the formats on imported columns survive. R04 · Destination ## What to Know Before You Start 1. The Microsoft account in Excel must use the same email as your OWOX profile. 2. The add-in runs in Excel on the web, in Microsoft 365 on Windows and Mac, and in Excel 2019 or later on Mac. 3. You install it from the Office Add-ins store in Excel, or an administrator deploys it from the Microsoft 365 admin center. 4. There is no scheduled refresh. You refresh manually while the workbook is open. 5. A worksheet holds one report, and Excel’s own limit of about 1,048,576 rows applies. 6. What a user can load depends on their OWOX access.
