The SQL behind every join stays visible. ## How it works R01 · Collect ## Collect All Your Open Holidays Data With Zero Engineering The connector has one endpoint in the OWOX catalog, Public Holidays. It covers public holidays for different countries and languages, is a time series and lands in a table named `open_holidays_public_holidays`. The table has seven fields. | Field | Type | What it holds | | --- | --- | --- | | id | STRING | A unique identifier for the holiday | | date | DATE | The date of the holiday | | name | STRING | The holiday’s name in the requested language | | type | STRING | The type of holiday, such as public or school | | regionalScope | STRING | The regional scope of the holiday | | temporalScope | STRING | The temporal scope of the holiday | | nationwide | BOOLEAN | Whether the holiday applies nationwide | The connector documentation says the source also covers school holidays and holiday transfer data. The source needs no credentials. To start: 1. Add a storage to receive the data: Google BigQuery, Snowflake, AWS Redshift, AWS Athena or Databricks. 2. Create a Connector Data Mart and choose Open Holidays as the platform. 3. Publish the Data Mart and run it for the first import. 4. Add a Connector Trigger to schedule recurring imports.
