Simple setup

Link OWOX BI Attribution with Google AdWords in a few simple steps. Before you begin, make sure to set up offline conversion tracking in AdWords and create a conversion action. The conversion action in AdWords and the last funnel step in your attribution model should be the same.
  • Log in to OWOX BI

    Sign in to OWOX BI using your Google account.

  • Enable data export to Google AdWords

    In the OWOX BI Attribution interface, click on the Results tab and turn on Data export is enabled. Next, select Google AdWords as a bidding service.

  • Enter the name of the conversion action

    Type in the name of the conversion action for which you're going to import the data. The name of the conversion action is case-sensitive and should be exactly the same both in OWOX BI Attribution and Google AdWords.

  • Select the conversion currency

    The selected currency should be the same as the currency in the Google Analytics property used by your attribution model.

  • Copy the link for the bidding service settings

    You'll need to paste this link in Google AdWords in order to specify the data source.

  • Log in to Google AdWords

    In the Google AdWords interface, click the Tools tab and select Conversions. If you're using a manager account, click Conversions in the menu on the left. In the navigation panel, click Uploads.

  • Select the data source in Google AdWords

    Next to Source, select HTTPS and paste the URL you copied in the OWOX BI Attribution interface. At this step, you can choose to upload data once or schedule regular uploads.

  • Save the settings

    Click Upload and preview or Upload and apply. Note that you won't be able to remove conversions once they are imported, that's why we recommend to preview the data before importing it.

  • Done! Now you can use the uploaded data in order to manage your Google AdWords campaigns.

    Once the upload is finished, you'll be able to see the data in Google AdWords reports and use this data to manage ad campaigns. To learn more about automated bidding, visit the Google AdWords support page.
