Do any of these challenges sound familiar to you?

Track everything users do on your website

After a hit is sent from your website, it may take up to 24 hours for Google Analytics to make the data available via the interface or API, and up to 48 hours to finish processing the data.

Only 10M hits per month per property are allowed in the free Google Analytics accounts, and you’re almost certain to lose the data above this limit. Other limits are 200K hits per user per day and 500 hits per session.

Not least, you can’t see user phone numbers and email addresses in the reports, as sending any personal identifiable information (PII) to Google Analytics is strictly prohibited.

Avoid data sampling and get non-aggregated session data

When the data volume for a selected date range in a report exceeds 500K sessions, Google Analytics applies session sampling. This means it only processes a percentage of data, and your reports are no longer 100% accurate.

You may want to see all the important information at a glance, in one report, while there are reporting limitations in Google Analytics. Up to 5 dimensions and 10 metrics are allowed in the interface, and not all dimensions and metrics can be used together. In addition, dimensions must be paired with metrics, which means the data is always aggregated.

Get detailed information about your marketing efforts

Google Analytics provides the Cost Data Import feature, enabling you to upload the cost data for all your advertising initiatives, and combines this cost data with revenue and conversion data. However, with Google Analytics alone you can’t see the amount of money you’ve spent acquiring a particular user.

  • img

With raw data in Google BigQuery, you’ll be able to build reports with any combinations of query parameters you need.

  • img

The cost data will be exported from Google Analytics to Google BigQuery, automatically on a daily basis.

  • img
